In 1962, Charles Richard “Dick” Wrightsel, his Father, Lantz, and Dick’s Uncle, Joe, pooled $30,000.00 dollars of their life savings and hard earned money to forge a family operated, wholly owned American company called Ross-Co Redi-Mix, employing family, friends, and partners within their first plant located at 689 Marietta Road, in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio.
